VIRAL POP SENSATION AUTI STUNS WITH MOURNFUL NEW TUNE “4 YEARS”
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Viral pop sensation Auti is pondering what many do after losing a loved one to suicide in her new single “4 Years” - available now on all digital platforms. A melancholy memoriam, written for the best friend she lost when he took his own life, “4 Years” drops as Suicide Prevention Week comes to a close.

"On the 4-year anniversary date of my friend's passing due to suicide, I sat down at the piano and just... talked to him,” Auti told HollywoodLife, who premiered the ballad exclusively yesterday (9/8). “I said everything that I wish I could have said to him, both before and after he had passed. That's how my song '4 Years' came to life."
Signed with Pivotal Records - a label itself known for strong messaging in and support of mental health - Auti first gained notoriety when a cover video she did with her dad performing “Shallow” from the blockbuster hit A Star Is Born went viral, accumulating hundreds of millions of views collectively. Since then, she’s continued to write and record new music, all the while remaining deeply rooted in her calling to bring awareness to suicide prevention and mental health.
"Through my music, I acknowledge the baggage that so many of us carry around and try to avoid - like a heavy weight. Everyone finds themselves dealing with mental health issues at some point in their lives, and I believe it is extremely important that we address those tough times, because it is the first step to preventing suicide."
Auti recently wrapped filming for a video to accompany “4 Years” - the visual is due out mid-September.
